PERMANENT MAKEUP AFTERCARE INSTRUCTION
Brows and Eyeliners
Your results will appear much darker on the day of the procedure. This deeper color will remain for approximately 5 – 10 days. You will also experience swelling, tenderness and some skin/pigment exfoliation. It is imperative that you follow the aftercare instruction and do not pick at the treated area. Picking will result in loss of pigment (color). In addition, it may be several days/weeks before the final result are achieved.
First 24 Hours
Gently pat or dab wound with clean, moist gauze, tissue (example, water baby wipes) every 1-2 hours for oily skin and 2-3 hours for normal/dry skin to remove excess debris, plasma, dried fluids and reduce stabbing. Do not scrub.
2nd Day (Next 24 hours)
Gently pat or dab wound with clean, moist gauze, tissue (example, water baby wipes) 4-5 times a day.
3 – 10 Days
Rinse your eyebrows/eyeliner with clean water twice a day (no soap). Do not pick scabs. If your eyebrows/eyeliner too dry and/or itchy, you may apply very thin layer Aquaphor once a day (only after 4th days from the day of the procedure).. Do not suffocate your eyebrows/eyeliner. Do not apply Aquaphor if your brows/eyeliner do not dry or itchy!
- Do not use any Retin-A, Glycolic Acid, Peroxide, Neosporin while healing (2 weeks at least).
- Do not scrub or pick your eyebrows / eyeliner.
- Do not expose area to sun or tanning beds for 10 days! Must use hat if in the sun.
- Avoid any facials, swimming, whirlpools or sauna for 10 days.
- Do not exercise the first 3-5 days. No heavy sweating!
- No makeup on the eyebrows / eyeliner for 10 days or until all scabs are off.
Permanent Lip Blush and Dark Lip Color
Your results will appear much darker on the day of the procedure. This deeper color will remain for approximately 3 – 7 days. You will also experience swelling, tenderness, dryness and some skin/pigment exfoliation. It is imperative that you follow the aftercare instruction and do not pick at the treated area. Picking will result in loss of pigment (color). In addition, it may be several days/weeks before the final result are achieved.
LIPS:
Starting immediately, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor or Hustle Butter as needed for dryness and to assist in the exfoliation process. Use a clean cotton swab. Always wash hands prior to treating any wound. Do not pick. Cleanse as usual.
- No Exfoliants, Retinol acids, Glycolic acid, Peroxide, Neosporin, Alpha Hydroxy acid on/around lips for 30 days after the session (causes premature fading).
- Do not scrub or pick your lips.
- Drink using a straw 3-5 days. No spicy foods and kissing during the first 72 hours.
- Do not expose area to sun or tanning beds for 7-10 days! Must use hat if in the sun.
- No laser therapy, as it can darken, lighten or distort the pigment on lip for 30 days after the session..
- No massages, facials or skin treatments for 10 days.
- Avoid any facials, swimming, whirlpools or sauna for 7- 10 days.
- Do not exercise the first 3-5 days. No any activities that will cause extreme sweating!
- No makeup on lips while healing.
