Before Permanent Makeup Treatment
- Do not work out the day of the procedure.
- Do not tan or have sunburned face one week before the procedure.
- Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or IBUprofen/Advil 24 hours before procedure.
- No alcohol or caffeine and tea 24 hours before the procedure.
- Avoid power shakes and power greens, Fish Oil, and “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements 24 hours prior to the procedure. It causes blood thinning and heavy bleeding.
- No waxing or tinting 3 days before the procedure.
- Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
- If you are prone to cold sores/ fever blisters, you should take a prescribed anti-viral medication prior to lips procedure.
- Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels and Retin-A weeks prior the procedure.
- Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the treated area 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your procedure. Please check your moisturizer, face wash, creams and makeup primers for anything that says acid.
- You have to be free any kind of Accutane for 1 year. No exceptions!
- No Latisse or any other lash hair growing products for minimum 3 weeks before the procedure.
- If you get Fillers, they should be done 2 weeks prior to your scheduled procedure or done 2 weeks after the procedure.
- If you get Botox, it should be performed either 2 weeks prior to your procedure or 2 weeks after your procedure.
